It was not so hot as in previous years, but the grass was in a slightly worse condition with a large hole within the dancing area which had to be avoided. Again the dances went with a swing and were well received. Although the Fete was now run by a different Committee, we still had our private changing room and Peter Colbert made sure we had our cream tea with homemade fruit cake, which we all look forward to! |
