The Bridport Reel of Seven
A demonstration dance for three men and four women to accommodate an extra woman; 1 x 64 bars

Bars
1 - 8 Outside dancers circle round and back WHILST 2nd man dances a Highland step in the centre. See Figure 1 for original positions.
9 - 12 2nd man sets to 2nd woman, and turns with right hand WHILST 1st couple and 3rd couple set to partners and ½ turn right hand.
13 - 16 2nd man sets to 4th woman and turns with left hand WHILST 1st couple and 3rd couple set and ½ turn right hand.
17 - 24 2nd man dances reel of three with 2nd woman and 4th woman starting right shoulder to 2nd woman WHILST 1st couple and 3rd couple dance back-to-back, set and men dance in front of partners to next woman. See Figure 2.
25 - 40 Repeat bars 9 to 24, 2nd man dancing with 1st woman and 3rd woman, 1st man with 4th woman, and 3rd man with 2nd woman. On last two bars men dance into centre to form right hands across.
41 - 48 Men dance right hands across, and left hands across (or pivot if preferred) WHILST women dance Rights and Lefts on diagonals, starting 1st woman with 2nd woman, and 4th woman with 3rd woman.
49 - 56 Men circle to left and back to right to finish in line facing top WHILST women chase anti-clockwise to finish as in Figure 3.
57 - 60 With hands joined all advance and retire.
61 - 64 All dance two pas-de-basque followed by four points.
