bars
1 - 4 1st man, followed by 2nd and 3rd men who dance up to follow, dances across the top of the set and down behind the three ladies (At end of bar 4 all men are facing down).
5 - 8 While the three men led by 1st man dance up the middle of the set, all three ladies join hands and set advancing for 2 bars, and turn simple (R.Sh. back) to end in the centre of the dance facing up as their partners meet them and take promenade hold facing up.
9 - 16 All three couples dance a promenade for 6 bars and, on bars 15 and 16, 1st couple cast off to 2nd place as the 2nd couple dances up to top place – 1st couple finish in middle of the dance Left shoulder to Left shoulder. 1M is facing the ladies’ side, and 1L is facing the men’s side.
17 - 20
1st lady with the 2nd couple and 1st man with the 3rd couple dance Right Hands Across to end up as they started.
21 - 24 1st couple lead the couple they wheeled with in a Snake Pass movement to end with the 3rd couple at the top, the 1st couple in 2nd place and the 2nd couple in 3rd place - all on own
sides.
25 - 28
1st couple turn by the Left hand for 4 bars, and dance out to the sidelines in 2nd place - 1L facing UP and 1M facing DOWN.
29 - 32
1st couple giving Left shoulder - lL to 3L and 1M to 2M - dance ½ a Reel of Three on the sides, to finish 2nd place own sides. Order 2,1,3.
  Repeat from second position

NOTES.
Bars 5-8 On Bar 8 all three couples need to be beside partners facing up in the middle ready to dance a promenade - it is important for the three ladies to only advance in a little to allow the men to dance up beside them.
Bar 24 The 1st couple need to flow naturally into the sidelines without turning - it may be easier for them to end in the centre L.Sh to L.Sh facing opposite sides.

devised by Tony Meadley - November 2010

The idea for this dance came to Tony at a recent class while walking a dance with the Snake Pass movement. The man next to him remarked that “looking at the people here, the Bus Pass would be more appropriate!”. Tony commented that there must be a dance there somewhere! Here it is!
